Wow, had the best Thai food in Newport, OR. We ordered the combination plate for an appetizer, I ordered the half fried chicken and my husband ordered the flaming beef. Everything was amazing. The staff were awesome and the atmosphere was beautiful. We watched the boat go by, saw a few harbor seal and plenty of seagulls. Highly recommend.

The food was amazing. Great service. Clean restaurant and restroom. Enjoyed our lunch while watching the rainy day on the ocean. They have specialties of the day. We tried the Thai beer Singha. Nice full bodied but lite flavor. We had Pra Ram and grilled chicken special of the day. 4 out of 5 in heat awesome! Combination Platter was great for variety and all was good.

We were in the mood for something different and found this place right on the waterfront in newport. I had the pad thai and my husband had the curry chicken noodles and they were both fantastic! The view is really nice. We enjoyed watching the seals swim while we were eating lunch.

Great dishes, friendly service, beautiful water views and the best boba in the area. Decided to stop here for a Thai food fix on our way down the coast and glad we did. Great location with plenty of shopping and nice spot to relax and refuel. High recommend with very friendly staff and great food!

What an excellent find! The menu is marked which items can be prepared gluten free. I also sent an IM beforehand and they responded quickly that most everything on their menu can be prepared gluten free. We started with the Fresh Rolls which were delicious and the peanut sauce had a nice coconut flavor. I had the Pork Pad Thai at a medium spice; it was tasty and a little more on the sweet side from what I am used to. I think if I went up a spice level, it might have evened out the sweetness. My husband got the Roast Duck Pad Thai. The duck was cooked perfectly and was delicious. My husband thought it was more on the sweet side too. I’d love to come back here someday!

They have decent vegetarian options. Loved Thai fried rice and spring rolls. Toddler approved too. My husband tried chicken and liked it too. I’d include this place under one of the best restaurants to have veg thai fried rice.

Lovely people run this restaurant, and it shows in the quality of the food. We love this restaurant - it has such a good energy about it. The view on the river and of the iconic Newport bridge is a bonus, though regretfully one corner window is a bit fogged up somewhat restricting visibility. The food is delicious - it doesn’t taste over-salted as some preparations in this cuisine can be. If there were a good adjective to describe the food at Thai Port, that adjective would have to be “refreshing.” This is one of our favorite restaurants in Newport. In operation for many years, this restaurant is a hub of hospitality, and we most highly recommend it.

The views, food, and service were all excellent. The mango sticky rice? PHENOMENAL. Some of the best mango sticky rice I’ve ever had. Had the perfect consistency and sweetness. As a mango sticky rice connoisseur, I would make the hour drive just to get it.
